Darkness hath embraced mine essence

Darkness hath embraced mine essence,
Scrambling – slithering unto fate,
Walking in for lifetime absence,
Locking me in this quisence state.

Crushing mem’ries of mere presence,
That I hath kept so long to date,
Falling – vanishing in silence,
Broken flashes – these things I hate.

And death now grazed mine existence,
Though hard I know my life hath grate.

Measurement: Trochaic  Tetrameter

~ So this was me being very pessimistic about my views on death.
